Title: Junior Engineer (Electrical & Electronics) BPS-17

Key Responsibilities:

As a Junior Engineer at NTDC, you will be instrumental in supporting the critical operations that keep Pakistan's power flowing. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting in the routine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of 500kV and 220kV grid stations, transmission lines, and associated equipment.
• Participating in the execution of technical projects, upgrades, and expansions of the transmission network.
• Conducting inspections, data collection, and analysis to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues.
• Collaborating with senior engineers and technical teams to implement solutions and improve system efficiency.
• Ensuring strict adherence to all safety regulations, operational procedures, and quality standards.
• Preparing technical reports and documentation as required.
• Undertaking any other duties assigned by the supervisory staff.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Minimum BE / BSc Engineering in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.
• Academic Standing: Must possess a 1st Division or a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.5 or above.
• Professional Registration: A valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) is mandatory.
• Experience: Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Prior internship experience in the power sector or a related field will be considered an asset but is not required.
• Age Limit: 21 to 33 years.
  • Note: Age relaxation of five (05) years, as allowed by the Federal Government, is already incorporated into the prescribed age limit. Regular NTDC employees with a minimum of two (02) years of continuous service may be granted up to ten (10) years additional age relaxation as per company policy.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong foundational knowledge of electrical power systems, circuit theory, and electronics.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in technical report writing and clear communication.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
• Basic computer literacy (MS Office Suite).

2. Application Fee: A non-refundable test fee of PKR 550/- (Rupees Five Hundred & Fifty Only) must be deposited as guided by NTS during the online application process.
3. Required Documents (Initial Stage): Please do not send photocopies of educational documents or experience certificates at this stage. These will only be required from shortlisted candidates during the interview process.
4. Shortlisting: Only highly qualified and shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the written test and subsequent interview.

• Quotas for minorities and persons with disabilities will be observed as per government rules. Relevant certificates must be provided by candidates claiming these quotas.
